Our clinicians love to see client's in-person in order to provide adequate service, personalized care, and to take you out of your everyday environment during sessions.
Services are available by telehealth. Sessions are held from the safety of your own home, at a time that is convenient for you. All telehealth sessions must be conducted in a private/secure setting within the state of Ohio.
Children, adults and seniors to include spouses, partners parents, caregivers and care providers can experience abuse.
Abuse can be physical, mental, emotional, verbal or sexual. If you are experiencing any of these, it is time to seek help.
Excessive feelings of fear that typically last more than 6 months. (Duration can have a shorter for children).
Anxiety symptoms can present as panic attacks. fear of separation, selective mutism, specific phobias or fear of social interaction.
Depression is the presence of sadness, empty feelings or irritable moods with physical or cognitive changes that affect your ability to function. You may also experience changes in sleep patterns, weight loss or gain, disinterest in things you usually enjoy, low energy, lack of hope, decreased self esteem or poor concentration.
Grief in short is the feeling attached to a loss.
The mourning process (the period of time grief is expressed) is as individual as the person experiencing the loss as well as the circumstances surrounding the loss. Anger, fear, guilt and depression are a few common emotions associated with a loss.
These disorders are as a result of psychological distress that usually occurs after exposure to a traumatic, adverse or catastrophic event. Your exposure to the event can be direct or secondary. If you are experiencing nightmares, intrusive thoughts or attempt to avoid reminders of the incident, you may be exhibiting symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress.
