Velecia Luckette Hairston has master’s degree in education from The University of Dayton and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (with supervisor designation) LPCC-S through the state of Ohio.
Velecia has practicum experience as a school-based clinician through Nationwide Children's Hospital, has direct clinical experience with children and adults through community mental health services. Velecia is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, has completed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Grief Counseling Training and Motivational Interviewing.
Velecia is a member of the All Ohio Counseling Association.
Prior to opening, Velecia was a Mental Health Clinician and Treatment Coordinator with UMCH Family Services. She served as a Resource Specialist with Military Veteran Resource Center and held several positions in a corporate environment to include over seven years in human resources.
Velecia also has a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Regis University, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Administration of Justice from Shippensburg State College and is a retired member of the US Army Reserves.

Whitney Beatty is a licensed counselor who enjoys holding space for people to feel seen and heard as they journey through challenging seasons toward their therapeutic goals. She believes that everyone has within them the resiliency to overcome obstacles that will allow them to flourish in unimaginable ways even if they need a helping hand. Her clinical approach utilizes multiple treatment modalities to attend to past traumas, depression, PTSD, and anxiety to guide individuals and families as they redefine their story.
Whitney has a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in psychology from The Ohio State University. During her internship at a nonprofit facility for women, she gained knowledge in individual and group
therapy, clinical assessments, and using evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy to address a range of mental health and substance abuse problems. Her professional and life experiences have provided her with the tools to support and guide others through various challenges and life transitions.
Whitney has a passion for advocating for women as they overcome abuse, societal pressures, distress in maternal mental health, and superwoman syndrome fostering healthy coping skills. Meeting people where they are, she strives to partner together to identify the root causes of their symptoms creating a treatment plan unique to each person’s needs. Through techniques such as self-discovery, reframing negative thoughts, building on strengths, and goal setting she aims to equips individuals with the tools to restore their quality of life.

Prior to becoming a counselor, I spent more than 25 years in executive leadership, where I developed expertise in human behavior, organizational dynamics, leadership development and employee well-being. I hold a Master of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary.
